From time to time there is a need for a full diagnostic survey of property required to examine significant defects and propose courses of remedial action to rectify these defects.
This typically occurs when an early less intrusive report has detected a defect which a mortgage lender considers to be a concern to the value of the property.
The Full Building Survey will involve the detailed inspection of buildings and/or investiagate specific defects, this may require co-ordinating and arranging exploritory works by contractors or specialists. Further the report will assess the cause of defects and report with recommendations.
These surveys are very specialised and will only be conducted by a Chartered Building Surveyor.
